Connect Affinity with an API key and sync in either direction. Polytomic models Affinity's structure properly rather than flattening it: a root schema for people and organizations, and a separate schema per list, so a list's own fields arrive as real columns alongside the entity's.
This is one of the deepest integrations Polytomic builds, and it is used heavily by venture and private equity funds. Optional webhook ingestion keeps syncs current without full enumeration, covering entity changes, field value edits, list membership, notes, and organization merges.
Affinity supports API key authentication only, with no OAuth option. A common and sensible pattern is creating a dedicated Affinity user with access scoped to what you are comfortable syncing, then generating the key from that account so access is easy to review and revoke.
