Klaviyo

Polytomic connects Klaviyo to your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools for ETL and reverse ETL. Replicate profiles, events, campaigns, and flows into Snowflake or BigQuery, and sync audience segments from your data warehouse back into Klaviyo profiles and lists, without writing code.

Read and write Klaviyo

Pull campaign and event data out, and push audience segments back in.

Mirror mode for lists

Keep a Klaviyo list exactly matching a data warehouse segment, adds and removes.

Flexible identity matching

Match profiles on profile ID, email, phone number, or your own external ID.

Example workflows

Replicate Klaviyo profiles, events, and campaigns into Snowflake or BigQuery

What you can sync

Move data between Klaviyo and your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools, reading campaign and engagement data out and writing audiences back in.

From Klaviyo

Profiles with consent, subscription, and channel details
Events, metrics, custom metrics, and mapped metrics
Campaigns and campaign messages across email, SMS, and push
Lists, segments, and their profile memberships
Flows, templates, and account details

To Klaviyo

Profiles, created and updated
Profiles added to an existing list
Mirror mode that also removes profiles absent from the source
Matching on profile ID, email, phone number, or external ID
Custom profile properties

How it works

Connect Klaviyo with an API key and sync in either direction. Pull profiles, events, campaigns, and flows into your data warehouse so email performance can be joined to orders and revenue, and push segments computed there back into Klaviyo lists so campaigns target on data Klaviyo could not calculate itself.

Mirror mode is what makes list syncing genuinely hands off. A normal sync only adds profiles, while mirror also removes anyone no longer present in the source, so a Klaviyo list stays an exact reflection of a data warehouse segment rather than drifting as people qualify out.

  • Connect Klaviyo with a private API key
  • Read profiles, events, campaigns, flows, lists, and segments
  • Sync incrementally on updated timestamps where Klaviyo supports it
  • Write profiles matching on profile ID, email, phone, or external ID
  • Keep a list in sync with mirror mode, adding and removing members
  • Monitor sync health, record volume, and failures from one interface

How to set up

Polytomic authenticates to Klaviyo with a private API key. Give the key read access for the objects you plan to sync, plus profile and list write access if you intend to push audiences back. The connection form also asks for a public key, which is a legacy field the current implementation does not use for API calls.

How to get connected
  1. 1In Klaviyo, create a private API key with the scopes you need
  2. 2In Polytomic, navigate to Connections, then Add Connection, then Klaviyo
  3. 3Paste the private API key
  4. 4Test the connection
  5. 5Select the objects you want to sync, or create a sync targeting profiles or a list
  6. 6Click Save
