Today we're releasing the Polytomic MCP server. This makes Polytomic a first-class citizen in your AI DataOps agents.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a method of connecting AI agents to external services like Polytomic.

This enables you to access Polytomic's full capabilities using prompts. Due to the power of Polytomic's platform, the examples of what you can ask your agents to do are wide-ranging. Here are a few:

• Configure syncs in Polytomic.
• Inspect any part of your Polytomic environment (configurations, sync histories, and errors).
• Use Polytomic's Query Runner to generate and run queries against databases and data warehouses and get the results.
• Do the same with Salesforce and SOQL queries.
• Make arbitrary API calls to any of the systems connected to Polytomic (e.g. look up a specific record in sales, marketing, support, and finance tools).

Polytomic is now a powerful gateway of operations to all your systems, easily driven by your AI agents.
