Source discovery covers both tables and views while excluding system schemas, so a view encapsulating your scoring or segmentation logic can drive the sync directly. That keeps the definition in ClickHouse where your team maintains it, rather than duplicating it into a mapping layer where it would drift. Custom SQL is available too if you would rather not create an object for it.

The record objects your workspace uses, typically companies and people along with any custom objects you have defined, and the attributes on them. Attio is flexible about its own schema, so the practical constraint is usually what you have modelled there rather than what the connector supports. Map an identifier your ClickHouse model carries, commonly a domain or an email, so records update rather than duplicate.

What does the ClickHouse connection need for a read only sync?

A database username and password with SELECT on whatever the model touches, and nothing more. Worth being explicit because the connection form also carries AWS, Azure or Google Cloud credentials, and those exist for destination staging rather than source authentication. If ClickHouse is only ever the source in your setup, those storage fields are not part of the picture and the account needs no write permissions at all.
