What collation do the new columns get?

Whatever your database or schema default happens to be. The Azure SQL writer emits no explicit COLLATE clause, and newly created staging columns do not preserve custom per column collation from anywhere else. If your database default is case and accent insensitive, that is how comparisons on these tables will behave, which for a CRM full of international names is worth a moment's thought before the first load rather than after.

What can I sync from Affinity into Azure SQL?

People and organizations, every person, organization and opportunity list as its own table, notes, and then calls, emails and meetings. There is deliberately no standalone opportunity source, so opportunities arrive through their lists.

Does every run pull the full CRM?

Accepted Answer

By default yes for people, organizations and list projections, which are full pulls. Enabling Affinity webhook updates switches the supported schemas to event driven incremental ingestion instead, and calls, emails, meetings and notes have timestamp based incremental readers of their own.

Do deletes reach Azure SQL?

Accepted Answer

Only with webhooks enabled. With them on, deletes for people, organizations, opportunities, list memberships and notes are all processed, and an organization merge deletes the record merged away. With them off, nothing signals a deletion at all.

Why has my sync runtime doubled?

Accepted Answer

Almost always because interaction date fields were selected. Those roughly double both the API calls and the runtime, since Affinity has to be queried about interactions separately from the records themselves.
