It depends on the grain. Summary values such as last touched date, current sequence or reply status work well as attributes on the person, since those are what people filter on. Anything with many rows per person, like individual sequence steps or activity events, belongs on a custom object. Polytomic discovers objects live from your workspace, so a custom object built for outbound activity is available as a target without extra configuration.

Can I drive prospecting from an Attio list?

Yes, and lists are first class here. Each Attio list is both a readable table and a writable target, so a model can add people to a named list and set list entry attributes at the same time. Two constraints to design around: a sync can add a record to a list but cannot remove it, and it cannot create the list itself. Create the list in Attio first, and handle suppression on the sequencing side.

What will not sync into Attio?

Deletions, since writes are limited to create, update, and create or update. Notes, meetings, call recordings and workspace members are readable out of Attio but not writable into it. New attributes cannot be created by a sync, so the fields you want need to exist first, although new select and multiselect options can be created automatically when that setting is enabled. Unmatched select options are a common configuration trap.
