What can Polytomic sync from Attio into Snowflake?

Whatever your workspace actually contains, because objects are discovered rather than hardcoded. People, companies, deals, users, workspaces and any custom object you have built all appear as tables. On top of those you get notes, workspace members, meetings, meeting participants, call recordings and call transcripts. Each Attio list also becomes its own table, carrying the list entries plus fields from the parent object, so a sales pipeline list is queryable as a table in its own right.

How do Attio's compound attributes land in Snowflake?

Twice over, which is the useful part. An attribute such as a personal name is exposed as a structured parent that lands in a VARIANT column, and also as generated subfields like first name, last name and full name that land as ordinary scalar columns. Select whichever suits your modelling. One thing to check on a first load: currency attributes emit only the decimal value, so the currency code is not carried across and you should hold it elsewhere if you work in several currencies.

Does the sync read everything on every run?

By default yes, because Attio does not expose an updated timestamp cursor to filter on. Enabling webhook updates on the bulk sync changes that: after the initial load, incremental runs are driven by Attio webhooks rather than by rereading. Object records, list entries, notes and the derived deal stage history all work this way. Meetings, call recordings, call transcripts and workspace members remain full reads regardless.

Are deleted Attio records removed from Snowflake?

Accepted Answer

With webhooks enabled, yes, and this is the strongest argument for turning them on. Webhook mode handles record, list entry and note deletions explicitly, including records that disappeared because they were merged into a duplicate. Without webhooks a deleted record simply stops appearing in the read. Since webhook delivery is not guaranteed, it is worth scheduling an occasional full run to reconcile rather than assuming the copy never drifts.
