How do I connect MongoDB?

Atlas and self hosted use the same connector. For Atlas, enter the SRV hostname and enable SRV. For self hosted, enter standard hosts and leave it off. The inputs are hostnames, username, password, auth database, TLS, SRV and additional URI query parameters. There is no field for pasting a complete connection URI, which surprises people who have one to hand.

Is there an SSH tunnel option?

No, and this differs from the PostgreSQL and MySQL connectors, which both expose one. MongoDB does not, and there are no dedicated CA or client certificate fields either. IP allowlisting is the supported path, so allow the published Polytomic egress addresses, or your own if you run Polytomic yourself.

What does a Harmonic saved search resolve to?

Accepted Answer

A saved query inside Harmonic, not a stored snapshot and not a special record type. Polytomic runs it at sync time and reads whatever currently matches, which is why the document set legitimately changes between runs even when nothing on your side has changed at all.

Which lists and searches are available?

Accepted Answer

Shared Harmonic lists containing companies, people or investors, plus company saved searches and people saved searches. Private saved searches, and lists not shared with your team, are deliberately excluded, so sharing it in Harmonic is almost always the fix when something is missing from the picker.

Does every ETL run re-read everything?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Harmonic advertises bulk source mode only, with no incremental reader at all, so each run restarts the saved search and paginates through every current result. Size the schedule with that in mind rather than running it as often as you would a change tracked source.
