Which Salesloft objects can I write to from Redshift?

The rest of Salesloft is source only, so activity data can be read into the warehouse for reporting but not written back. Those three cover what teams want from this direction: accurate account and person records, and control over who gets worked and when.

Can I add people to a Salesloft cadence from Redshift?

Yes, and missing people are created for you. If someone selected for a cadence is not in Salesloft yet, they are created and then added, so no separate seeding sync is needed first. That makes it practical to model a qualified list in the warehouse and let enrolment happen as people meet the criteria rather than when somebody remembers to upload a list.

When should I schedule the sync?

Away from whatever else uses the cluster, at least for the first run. Model reads are normal Redshift queries, so a large initial scan competes with dashboards and transformations for the same resources, and Polytomic does not set a query group or slot count of its own. Once a tracking column is in place ongoing runs are much smaller, so the usual pattern is a heavy first load off peak followed by a frequent light schedule.

Should Redshift be allowed to create people in Salesloft?

It depends who owns the record, and it is worth deciding rather than defaulting. Update or create lets the warehouse introduce people, update only enriches those already there and skips the rest, and create only adds new ones without touching matches. If Salesloft is populated from your CRM, update only keeps ownership clear. If the warehouse is where qualified people get identified in the first place, letting it create them is the entire reason for the sync.

Why not just give reps access to the dashboard?

Because a dashboard is somewhere you go, and a cadence is something you work. Even reps who like data will not switch tools mid sequence to check whether an account still qualifies.
