Payables and receivables together

Bills, invoices, payments, vendors, and customers sync from the same BILL connection.

Records with their attachments

Bills, invoices, vendors, and customers sync along with their linked attachments and documents.

Rate limits respected

Requests stay within BILL's developer key and concurrency limits, with automatic retries on throttling.

Example workflows

Sync BILL bills and payments into Snowflake for AP reporting

What you can sync

Sync data out of BILL into your data warehouse, databases, and cloud storage with full control over object and field mapping.

From BILL

Bills, vendor credits, and payments
Invoices, recurring invoices, and receivable payments
Vendors, customers, and contacts
Chart of accounts, departments, locations, and other reference data
Attachments and documents linked to bills, invoices, vendors, and customers
Spend and Expense transactions and reimbursements

How it works

Connect BILL as a source. Choose which objects and fields to sync into your data warehouse, databases, or cloud storage. Polytomic handles the extract and load, with no pipelines to maintain.

Most objects sync incrementally, pulling only records changed since the last run. Spend and Expense objects, including transactions and reimbursements, sync once an API token is added to the connection.

  • Bills, invoices, payments, vendors, and customers sync in one connection
  • Attachments and documents sync linked to their parent bills and invoices
  • Requests stay within BILL's developer key and concurrency limits automatically
  • Most objects sync incrementally using BILL's updated time field
  • Sandbox and production environments selectable for testing before going live
  • Spend and Expense transactions sync when an API token is added

How to set up

BILL connections authenticate with a developer key and a sync token rather than an account password. Choose whether the connection points at BILL's production or sandbox environment.

How to get connected
  1. 1In BILL, generate a developer key under Settings > Sync & Integrations > Manage Developer Keys, and create a sync token for Polytomic to use
  2. 2In Polytomic, go to Connections, click Add connection, and select BILL
  3. 3Enter the developer key, sync token name and value, organization ID, and environment, then click Save
