Spend, expense, and travel data

Accounting records, expenses, budgets, spend limits, transactions, and trips sync from one connection.

Sync only what changed

Accounting records, expenses, and trips sync incrementally after the first run, reading only what changed.

Late-posting transactions covered

Card and cash transactions reread a trailing window on every run, so postings that land late are never missed.

Example workflows

Land card and cash transactions in your warehouse for spend analysis

What you can sync

Brex is supported as a source. Read accounting, spend, and travel data into your data warehouse, databases, or other connected tools.

From Brex

Card and cash transactions, statements, and accounts
Expenses and accounting records
Budgets, budget programs, and spend limits
Trips and trip bookings

How it works

Connect a Brex API token scoped to the data you want to read. Polytomic reads accounting, expense, and spend data from your Brex account into your data warehouse, databases, or other connected tools.

Accounting records, expenses, and trips sync incrementally after the first run, reading only what changed. Card and cash transactions reread a trailing window on every run instead, because Brex can post them after the fact. That window defaults to seven days and can be extended up to a year.

  • Read accounting, expense, budget, and spend limit records
  • Sync card and cash transactions, statements, and account balances
  • Sync only what changed for accounting records, expenses, and trips
  • Reread a trailing window to catch late-posting transactions
  • Sync trips and trip bookings with traveler details
  • Include departments, locations, legal entities, and custom fields

How to set up

Brex issues API tokens from its own dashboard, not from Polytomic. An account or card admin creates a token scoped to the data you want Polytomic to read, then you enter it in the connection form to finish setup.

How to get connected
  1. 1In Brex, go to Dashboard, then Developer, then Settings, and create an API token with the scopes you need
  2. 2In Polytomic, go to Connections, click Add connection, and select Brex
  3. 3Enter the API token, then click Save
