Dayforce

Polytomic connects Dayforce to your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools for reliable ETL. Sync employee, job, and department records out of Dayforce into the systems your team already runs on, without writing code.

Automatic reauthentication

Dayforce access tokens expire mid-sync. Polytomic detects the expiration and reauthenticates automatically. Long-running syncs finish without a manual reconnect.

Structured employee fields

Nested Dayforce fields, like an employee's culture, keep their structure instead of collapsing into raw text.

Core workforce objects

Employee, job, and department records sync out of Dayforce into your warehouse, databases, or other systems.

Example workflows

Sync employee and job data into Snowflake for workforce reporting

How it works

Connect Dayforce with your company ID, client name, and a Dayforce username and password. Polytomic exchanges those credentials for an access token and looks up your client's dedicated API address automatically.

Every sync reads the current employee, job, and department records from Dayforce. Polytomic also reauthenticates automatically if your Dayforce session expires partway through a run.

  • Connect using your Dayforce company ID, client name, and login
  • Polytomic exchanges your credentials for an access token automatically
  • Reauthenticates automatically if your Dayforce session token expires
  • Reads employee, job, and department records in full on every run
  • Nested fields like employee culture keep their named sub-fields
  • Monitor sync health and execution from one interface

How to set up

Dayforce authenticates with a company ID, client name, and a username and password rather than an OAuth authorization flow. Polytomic exchanges these credentials for an access token, looks up your client's dedicated API address, and keeps the session refreshed automatically for the life of the connection.

How to get connected
  1. 1In Polytomic, go to Connections, click Add connection, and select Dayforce
