How it works
DealCloud is configured differently at every firm, so Polytomic reads your tenant's schema rather than assuming a standard object model. Entry types and their fields are discovered from your own configuration, which means the entries your firm built appear alongside the familiar ones.
Reads and writes both run against those discovered entry types. Writable fields are resolved from your tenant too, so calculated and read only fields are excluded from mapping automatically rather than failing when a sync runs.

How to set up
Two authentication routes are available: a DealCloud API key sent as a bearer credential, or OAuth client credentials scoped for data access. Once connected, Polytomic reads your tenant's entry types and fields, so the object list reflects your firm's configuration rather than a generic model.
How to get connected
