What Delighted data can Polytomic sync?

Survey responses are the object most teams build on and they carry the useful context inline: the score and comment, plus person properties, tags, notes, and any additional answers collected. One thing to note is that there is no metrics or NPS endpoint, so Delighted's calculated score is not synced as a number. You compute NPS in your data warehouse from the underlying responses, which most teams prefer anyway since it lets you define the cohort.

Does Delighted sync incrementally?

No. There is no cursor based incremental mode for any Delighted object, so each ETL run pages through the selected objects from the start rather than fetching a delta. This is a constraint of what the Delighted API exposes rather than a choice in the connector. In practice it is manageable because feedback volumes are small relative to product or log data, but it does mean a daily schedule is more sensible than a high frequency one, and very large response histories will take proportionally longer on every run.

Do person properties and tags come through?

Yes. Survey responses expose person properties, tags, notes, and additional answers, and Autopilot memberships expose the properties attached to the next survey request. So if you already pass attributes like plan, region, or account owner into Delighted when sending a survey, those come back out attached to the response and can be used for segmentation immediately. Properties arrive as nested objects and tags as arrays rather than being flattened into columns, so you unpack the ones you need in your data warehouse.

How do I calculate NPS if the metrics endpoint is not synced?

From the raw responses, which is the more flexible approach. Each response carries its score, so promoters, passives, and detractors are a simple case expression in your data warehouse and NPS follows from that. Doing it yourself means you can define the window, filter to a specific segment or product line, and reconcile against revenue on the same grain, none of which is possible when you are handed a single precomputed number. It also means your NPS definition lives with the rest of your metric definitions.

Can I push survey scores back into my CRM?

Yes, though not through the Delighted connector itself, which is source only. The pattern is to sync Delighted responses into your data warehouse with ETL, model them into the score or trend you care about, then use reverse ETL to write that onto Salesforce, HubSpot, or Attio records. Because both directions run on Polytomic, an account owner can see their customer's latest NPS on the account record without anyone exporting a spreadsheet, and the definition behind that number stays in your data warehouse.
