What you can sync

Move data between Facebook Ads and your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools, reading reporting out and writing audiences and conversions back in.

From Facebook Ads

Campaigns, ad sets, and ads
Ad creatives, images, and videos
Ad insights with spend, impressions, and actions
Breakdowns by country, platform, device, age, and gender
Publisher platform and impression device breakdowns

To Facebook Ads

New custom audiences created and populated
Add, remove, or mirror membership on an existing audience
Email, phone, external ID, name, address, and advertiser ID
Website and physical store conversion events
Automatic hashing of personal identifiers before upload

How it works

Connect Facebook Ads with OAuth and sync in both directions. Pull campaigns, ads, and insights into your data warehouse so spend can be joined to revenue, and push audiences and conversion events back to Meta so targeting and optimization reflect what you actually know about your customers.

Identifiers are hashed before upload, which is what Meta requires. Mirror mode is the option worth knowing about: it keeps a custom audience exactly matching a data warehouse segment, removing people who no longer qualify rather than only adding new ones.

  • Connect with OAuth, or bring your own system user token
  • Read campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, and insights with breakdowns
  • Create a custom audience, or write membership to an existing one
  • Choose add, remove, or mirror for audience membership
  • Send website and offline conversion events with value and currency
  • Monitor sync health, record volume, and failures from one interface

How to set up

Polytomic connects through Facebook Login for Business, exchanging your authorization for a long lived token. If your security team prefers, you can supply a system user token instead and choose the Graph API version. Either way the credential needs ads management, ads read, business management, and insights read permissions plus access to the relevant ad accounts.

How to get connected
  1. 1In Polytomic, navigate to Connections, then Add Connection, then Facebook Ads
  2. 2Click Connect and authorize through Facebook Login for Business
  3. 3Or paste a system user token and select a Graph API version
  4. 4Grant access to the ad accounts and datasets you need
  5. 5Test the connection
  6. 6Select reporting objects, or create an audience or conversion sync
