Fathom

Polytomic connects Fathom to your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools for meeting intelligence ETL. Replicate meetings with their transcripts, summaries, action items, and CRM matches into your data warehouse and other systems so what happened on calls can be analyzed alongside pipeline, without writing code.

What you can sync

Fathom is supported as a source. Read meetings and team data, then land them in your data warehouse, databases, or SaaS tools.

From Fathom

Meetings with titles, URLs, timings, and language
Transcript segments with speaker, text, and timestamp
Default summary and action items with assignees
Calendar invitees and internal or external domain type
CRM matches covering contacts, companies, and deals
Teams and team members

How it works

Connect Fathom with an API key and Polytomic reads your meetings into your data warehouse, databases, or SaaS tools. Transcript, summary, action items, invitees, and CRM matches all arrive on the meeting record, so a single sync gives you everything the call produced.

We use this ourselves. Polytomic replicates its own Fathom data into a warehouse and queries it alongside product usage, which is how our team analyses what customers actually say against what they actually do.

  • Connect Fathom with an API key
  • Read meetings, teams, and team members
  • Get transcript segments, summaries, and action items on each meeting
  • Pull calendar invitees and Fathom's own CRM matches
  • Sync meetings incrementally from a creation time checkpoint
  • Monitor sync health, record volume, and failures from one interface

How to set up

Polytomic authenticates to Fathom with a user generated API key sent as a request header. There is no OAuth flow, so setup is a single credential and a connection test.

How to get connected
  1. 1In Fathom, generate an API key
  2. 2In Polytomic, navigate to Connections, then Add Connection, then Fathom
  3. 3Paste the API key
  4. 4Optionally set a created on or after cutoff to limit the initial read
  5. 5Test the connection
  6. 6Select meetings, teams, or team members and click Save

See the documentation for full setup details.
