Google Ads

Polytomic connects Google Ads to your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools for ETL and reverse ETL. Replicate campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and performance reports into your data warehouse and other systems, and sync Customer Match audiences and offline conversions back into Google Ads, without writing code.

What you can sync

Move data between Google Ads and your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools, reading reporting out and writing audiences and conversions back in.

From Google Ads

Campaigns, ad groups, ads, and campaign budgets
Ad group criteria including keyword data
Campaign, ad, keyword, search term, and geographic reports
Assets, asset sets, and bidding strategies
Custom reports built from your chosen fields

To Google Ads

Customer Match user lists, new or existing
Add, remove, or mirror list membership
Email, phone, mobile advertising ID, and postal address
Conversion uploads with value, currency, and order ID
Enhanced conversions for leads using hashed user data

How it works

Connect Google Ads with OAuth and sync in both directions. Pull campaign structure and performance reports into your data warehouse so spend can be joined to pipeline, and push audiences and conversions back so targeting and bidding reflect what actually converted rather than what the platform can see.

Identifiers are hashed before upload as Google requires. Uploading offline conversions is what makes smart bidding optimize toward revenue rather than form fills, and it is the reason most teams connect Google Ads to their data warehouse in the first place.

  • Connect Google Ads with OAuth and select your accounts
  • Read campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, and performance reports
  • Define custom reports from the fields you care about
  • Create a Customer Match list, or write membership to an existing one
  • Upload conversions by click ID, or by hashed user data for leads
  • Monitor sync health, record volume, and failures from one interface

How to set up

Polytomic connects through Google OAuth, requesting Google Ads and Data Manager scopes. The authorizing user needs access to at least one Google Ads account, and you then select which accounts the connection can reach. A manager account is not required; direct customer accounts work, and where access runs through a manager hierarchy Polytomic supplies it automatically.

How to get connected
  1. 1In Polytomic, navigate to Connections, then Add Connection, then Google Ads
  2. 2Click Connect and authorize with a Google account that has Ads access
  3. 3Select the Google Ads accounts you want available
  4. 4Enable the consent certification if you plan to sync audiences
  5. 5Test the connection
  6. 6Select reporting objects, or create an audience or conversion sync
