What Highspot data can Polytomic sync?

Domain coverage is limited to those usage labels rather than a general domains object. It is a good picture of your content inventory and who has access to it.

Can I get content engagement analytics?

Partly, and it is worth being precise about the limits. Pitches carry aggregate metrics inline, specifically views, downloads, and dwell time, plus sent and viewed timestamps, so pitch level engagement is available. There is no dedicated content engagement or analytics endpoint, so item level engagement across all viewers is not exposed. Audit events are available but they are an administrative audit stream rather than a content engagement feed. One further caveat: Highspot documents its pitches endpoint as returning the authenticated user's pitches, so tenant wide coverage should be verified for your account.

Does Highspot sync incrementally?

Only the audit event stream, which reads from a saved checkpoint using cursor pagination and deliberately stops slightly short of the present to avoid reading a partially written window. Everything else is a full snapshot read on each ETL execution, generally paged a hundred records at a time. Combined with the parent to child traversal for item properties and group members, that makes a large content library meaningfully expensive to sync, so a daily schedule is more appropriate than a frequent one.

Does Polytomic sync the actual content files?

No, and this is a deliberate boundary. Item metadata is synced, covering titles, properties, CMS fields, and where content sits in your spot structure, but the underlying files are not downloaded. Item content is read only for SmartPages; binary content such as PDFs and slide decks is skipped. So you get a complete inventory to analyze and join, not a copy of the assets themselves, which is almost always what teams actually want in a data warehouse.
