Kustomer

Polytomic connects Kustomer to your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools for ETL and reverse ETL. Replicate customers and companies into your data warehouse and other systems, and write enriched attributes from your data warehouse back onto Kustomer records, without writing code.

Read and write Kustomer

Customers and companies work as both a source and a destination.

Custom attributes discovered

Your Kustomer klass metadata becomes mappable fields automatically.

Match on email or external ID

Key off Kustomer IDs, your own external IDs, or an email on the record.

Example workflows

Replicate Kustomer customers and companies into your data warehouse

What you can sync

Move customer and company data between Kustomer and your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools, in either direction.

From Kustomer

Customers with emails, attributes, and timestamps
Companies
Custom attributes discovered from your klass metadata
Attribute labels and enumeration values

To Kustomer

Customers, created and updated
Companies, created and updated
Matching on Kustomer ID, external ID, or email
Custom attributes as scalar values
Create, update, and create or update modes

How it works

Connect Kustomer with an API key and your portal subdomain, then sync customers and companies in either direction. Pull them into your data warehouse to report on support alongside revenue, or write attributes computed there back onto the record so agents see plan, health, and usage context in the conversation.

Custom attributes are discovered from your own Kustomer metadata rather than hardcoded, so the fields your team configured show up as mappable targets with their labels and picklist values intact.

  • Connect Kustomer with an API key and your subdomain
  • Read customers and companies with their custom attributes
  • Discover attribute definitions, labels, and enumeration values
  • Write records matching on Kustomer ID, external ID, or email
  • Choose create, update, or create or update
  • Monitor sync health, record volume, and failures from one interface

How to set up

Polytomic authenticates to Kustomer with a bearer API key. The connection also asks for your Kustomer subdomain, which is used to generate links back to individual records rather than for API traffic itself.

How to get connected
  1. 1In Kustomer, generate an API key with access to customers and companies
  2. 2In Polytomic, navigate to Connections, then Add Connection, then Kustomer
  3. 3Paste the API key and enter your Kustomer subdomain
  4. 4Test the connection
  5. 5Select customers or companies, or create a sync targeting them
  6. 6Click Save

See the documentation for full setup details.
