Loops

Polytomic connects your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools to Loops for lifecycle email reverse ETL. Push contacts and their properties from your data warehouse and other systems so Loops can segment and send on product usage, plan, and revenue data, without writing code.

Contacts kept current

Properties refresh on a schedule instead of drifting after signup.

Any property you model

Plan, usage, revenue, and lifecycle stage as columns from your models.

Segment on real data

Email logic can use warehouse fields, not just signup form values.

Example workflows

Drive onboarding email from actual product activation milestones

What you can sync

Loops is supported as a destination. Push contacts and their properties from your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools into Loops.

To Loops

Contacts, matched on email
Custom contact properties from your models
Lifecycle and plan fields used for segmentation
Updating existing contacts on a schedule

How it works

Build the contact view in your data warehouse, where product usage, billing, and CRM data already sit together, then sync it into Loops so email segmentation and automation can run on those properties.

The value is in what the properties can carry. Most email tools only know what a signup form captured. A scheduled sync means Loops knows a contact's current plan, last active date, seats used, and revenue, which is what turns a broadcast into a lifecycle programme.

  • Connect Loops as a destination
  • Build a model producing one row per contact
  • Map email as the identifier
  • Map plan, usage, revenue, and lifecycle columns to contact properties
  • Sync on a schedule so properties stay current
  • Monitor sync health, record volume, and failures from one interface

How to set up

Loops is a write destination in Polytomic. Once connected you build a model over your data warehouse or database returning one row per contact, and map its columns onto contact properties with email as the identifier.

How to get connected
  1. 1In Loops, generate an API key
  2. 2In Polytomic, navigate to Connections, then Add Connection, then Loops
  3. 3Paste the key and test the connection
  4. 4Build a model returning one row per contact
  5. 5Map email as the identifier and map your property columns
  6. 6Set a schedule and click Save

See the documentation for full setup details.
