Marketo

Polytomic connects Marketo to your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools for marketing automation ETL and reverse ETL. Replicate leads, activities, programs, and campaigns into your data warehouse and other systems, and push scores and segments back onto leads and static lists, without writing code.

The full activity history

Opens, clicks, form fills, score changes, and dozens more as own tables.

Your lead fields, all of them

Marketo instances accumulate fields, and they come through as they are.

Static list membership

Drive a Marketo static list from a segment defined in your data warehouse.

What you can sync

Move data between Marketo and your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools, reading leads and activity out and writing scores and list membership back in.

From Marketo

Leads with the full field set on your instance
Activities including opens, clicks, form fills, and score changes
Programs and campaigns
Lists and their membership
Activity type definitions

To Marketo

Leads, updated or created from your models
Static list membership
Scores and custom lead fields
Update and create or update

How it works

Connect Marketo and sync in either direction. Pull leads, the full activity history, programs, campaigns, and lists into your data warehouse, and push computed scores, segments, and static list membership back so campaigns run on logic you own.

Activities are where the depth is. Each activity type arrives as its own table, covering everything from email opens and clicks to form fills, score changes, webinar interactions, and nurture transitions, which is what makes real attribution modelling possible.

  • Connect Marketo with API credentials for your instance
  • Read leads with the full field set your instance has accumulated
  • Read activities, each type as its own table
  • Read programs, campaigns, lists, and activity type definitions
  • Write scores and fields back onto leads, and manage static list membership
  • Monitor sync health, record volume, and failures from one interface

How to set up

Create an API user and service in Marketo, then supply the credentials to Polytomic. Once connected, the lead, activity, program, campaign, and list objects appear for selection, and Marketo becomes available as a destination.

How to get connected
  1. 1In Marketo, create an API user and a custom service to obtain credentials
  2. 2In Polytomic, navigate to Connections, then Add Connection, then Marketo
  3. 3Enter the client ID, client secret, and instance endpoint
  4. 4Test the connection
  5. 5Select the objects you need, leaving lists out if you do not use them
  6. 6Choose a destination, set a schedule, and click Save

See the documentation for full setup details.
