Pitchbook

Polytomic uses Pitchbook to add company data onto records as they move through a sync. Match by the website already on the record, and financing, ownership, and headcount detail are attached before the record reaches your data warehouse, database, or CRM, without writing code.

Match by website

Look up the matching Pitchbook company for a record using its website, with no manual company ID lookup.

Financing and ownership detail

Add financing status, business status, ownership status, and parent company onto the record.

Headcount and company history

Pull current employee counts and historical headcount alongside the rest of the company profile.

Example workflows

Add financing status and ownership detail to CRM accounts as they sync

What you can sync

Pitchbook is an enrichment connector. Records flow from your source, gain financing, ownership, and headcount detail, and continue on to their destination.

From your sources

Data warehouses including Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks
Databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
CRM and other SaaS tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Attio
Spreadsheets and custom APIs

To your destinations

A website field mapped as the match key
Financing, ownership, and business status attached to the record
Employee counts, headcount history, and parent company attached
Enriched records continuing to any Polytomic destination

How it works

Connect Pitchbook with an API key to enable enrichment. Polytomic looks up the matching Pitchbook company for each record. It adds the fields you select directly onto that record.

Matching runs on the website field already on the record. Pitchbook currently supports company profile enrichment only.

  • Matches each record to its Pitchbook company automatically
  • Pulls financing, ownership, and business status onto the record
  • Adds employee counts and historical headcount from Pitchbook
  • Brings in parent company, HQ location, and total money raised
  • Runs as part of a sync you already have set up
  • Adds exchange and ticker details for public companies
