Productboard

Polytomic connects Productboard to your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools for product management ETL and reverse ETL. Replicate features, notes, and components into your data warehouse and other systems, and push company and user context back so feedback carries revenue weight, without writing code.

How it works

Connect Productboard and sync in both directions. Pull features, notes, components, companies, and users into your data warehouse so feedback can be analyzed at scale, and push company and user records back so Productboard knows who is asking.

That second direction is what makes the first one useful. A feature request means something different from a ten thousand dollar account than from a million dollar one, and Productboard only knows the difference if your revenue data gets there.

  • Connect Productboard with an access token
  • Read features, notes, components, companies, and users
  • Sync notes incrementally as new feedback arrives
  • Write companies and users with create, update, and upsert
  • Push revenue, plan, and segment context for weighting requests
  • Monitor sync health, record volume, and failures from one interface

How to set up

Authentication is a Productboard access token. Once connected the feature, note, component, company, and user objects appear for selection, and companies and users become available as write destinations.

How to get connected
  1. 1In Productboard, generate an access token
  2. 2In Polytomic, navigate to Connections, then Add Connection, then Productboard
  3. 3Paste the token and test the connection
  4. 4For reads, select features, notes, components, companies, or users
  5. 5For writes, build a model and map it to companies or users
  6. 6Set a schedule and click Save

See the documentation for full setup details.
