ScyllaDB

Polytomic connects ScyllaDB to your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools for ETL and reverse ETL. Read ScyllaDB tables into your warehouse for analytics, or write data into ScyllaDB with columns added automatically as your source changes, without writing code.

Full bidirectional ETL

Read tables from ScyllaDB into your systems, or write data into ScyllaDB from anywhere Polytomic connects.

Columns added automatically

New fields in your source data create matching ScyllaDB columns without a manual schema change.

Row-level deletes

Remove individual rows from a ScyllaDB table as a sync write mode, not just create and update.

Example workflows

Sync CRM and billing data into ScyllaDB for a low latency application

What you can sync

Move data between ScyllaDB and your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools, with table, column, and type discovery handled for you.

From ScyllaDB

Tables across every keyspace in your cluster
User-defined types and nested collections
Incremental reads on a tracking column
Private clusters over an SSH tunnel

To ScyllaDB

Tables, created and columns added automatically
Create, update, upsert, and delete individual rows
New tables built from a sync, with a primary key you choose
Arrays and nested data written as native CQL types

How it works

Connect ScyllaDB and read tables from every keyspace in your cluster, or write into ScyllaDB from any of Polytomic's other connectors. Tables, columns, and their types are discovered automatically, including user-defined types and collections.

A new table takes its primary key from the field you choose when the sync is set up. Existing tables gain new columns automatically as fields appear, and a sync can create, update, upsert, or delete individual rows.

  • Tables and columns discovered automatically across every keyspace
  • User-defined types and collections resolved into native fields
  • Incremental reads on a tracking column you choose
  • New tables created with the primary key you select
  • Existing tables gain new columns as source fields change
  • Create, update, upsert, or delete individual rows on write

How to set up

Add a ScyllaDB connection with the contact point addresses for your cluster. Polytomic authenticates with a username and password, and can reach a private cluster over TLS, client certificates, or an SSH tunnel.

How to get connected
  1. 1In Polytomic, go to Connections, click Add connection, and select ScyllaDB
  2. 2Enter your ScyllaDB hosts along with a username and password
  3. 3Turn on TLS or an SSH tunnel if your cluster requires them, then click Save
