No manual file handling

Replace downloading and re-uploading Excel files with a standing connection between SharePoint and the rest of your stack.

How it works

Connect with a Microsoft sign-in and Polytomic can move data between Excel workbooks in SharePoint and the rest of your stack. The connection is registered as both a source and a destination, so the same authorization covers reading Excel data out and writing data back in.

Authorization uses Microsoft's standard OAuth flow, scoped to the sites and files your account can access. Polytomic supplies the app registration and refreshes access automatically, so there is no client ID, secret, or manual token to maintain.

  • Connect using a Microsoft OAuth sign-in, not a manual credential
  • Polytomic supplies the app registration you authorize on connect
  • Registered as both a source and a destination in Polytomic
  • Access follows the SharePoint sites and files you approve
  • Refresh tokens keep the connection authorized without manual renewal
  • Connection health is checked against your Microsoft account directly

How to set up
