What you can sync

Towbook is supported as a source. Read dispatch and billing exports, then land them in your data warehouse, databases, or SaaS tools.

From Towbook

Accounting software export with call and billing detail
Line item export with nested billing lines
Dispatcher, driver, truck, timestamps, and response durations
Pickup and destination, vehicle, impound, and storage detail

How it works

Connect Towbook and Polytomic reads two report shaped objects into your data warehouse: the accounting software export and the line item export. Between them they carry the towing call, the dispatch workflow around it, and what was billed.

Each row is rich: dispatcher, driver, and truck, timestamps and response durations, pickup and destination, customer, account, invoice and payment details, and vehicle, impound, and storage information. The line item export adds nested billing lines on top.

  • Connect Towbook with an API token
  • Read the accounting software export for call and billing detail
  • Read the line item export for nested billing lines
  • Get dispatcher, driver, truck, timestamps, and response durations
  • Get vehicle, impound, and storage information per call
  • Syncs resume from date window checkpoints

How to set up

Authentication is a bearer API token. Once connected, the accounting software export and line item export objects appear for selection and can be pointed at any destination.

  2. 2In Polytomic, navigate to Connections, then Add Connection, then Towbook
  3. 3Paste the token and test the connection
