WorkOS

Polytomic connects WorkOS to your data warehouse, databases, and SaaS tools for identity and audit ETL. Replicate organizations, users, roles, events, and audit logs into your data warehouse and other systems so enterprise identity activity can be analyzed and retained, without writing code.

What you can sync

WorkOS is supported as a source. Read identity and audit data, then land it in your data warehouse, databases, or SaaS tools.

From WorkOS

Organizations with domains, metadata, and external ID
Users with email, verification state, and sign in timestamps
Organization roles with their permissions
Events, synced incrementally
Audit logs and audit log actions

To your destinations

Data warehouses including Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks
Databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL
Cloud storage including Amazon S3 and Google Cloud Storage
SaaS tools including Salesforce, HubSpot, and spreadsheets

How it works

Connect WorkOS with an API key and Polytomic reads organizations, users, organization roles, events, audit logs, and audit log actions into your data warehouse, databases, or SaaS tools.

Events and audit logs are the incremental objects and the ones that carry the history. Directory sync and SSO activity in particular come through as events rather than as current state tables, which shapes how you model them.

  • Connect WorkOS with an API key
  • Read organizations, users, and organization roles
  • Read events incrementally by creation time
  • Read audit logs incrementally, checkpointed per organization
  • Read audit log actions for reference
  • Monitor sync health, record volume, and failures from one interface

How to set up

Authentication is a WorkOS API key sent as a bearer token. Which objects are available depends on the key's environment and the WorkOS products your account has access to.

How to get connected
  1. 1In WorkOS, create an API key for the environment you want
  2. 2In Polytomic, navigate to Connections, then Add Connection, then WorkOS
  3. 3Paste the key and test the connection
  4. 4Select organizations, users, roles, events, and audit logs
  5. 5Choose a destination data warehouse or database
  6. 6Set a schedule and click Save

See the documentation for full setup details.
