Merchant and storefront reviews

Both review surfaces, plus the questions customers asked about products.

Webhook driven updates

Review creates and edits arrive by webhook rather than by rescanning.

Incremental with lookback

Merchant reviews read by updated time with a lookback for Yotpo delays.

What you can sync

Yotpo is supported as a source. Read reviews and questions, then land them in your data warehouse, databases, or SaaS tools.

From Yotpo

Merchant reviews, read incrementally by updated time
Storefront reviews by product SKU
Review creates and updates delivered by webhook
Customer questions and answers
Product identifiers and review scores as fields on each record

To your destinations

Data warehouses including Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift
Databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL
Cloud storage including Amazon S3 and Google Cloud Storage
SaaS tools including Salesforce, HubSpot, and spreadsheets

How it works

Connect Yotpo with your store's app key and secret and Polytomic reads reviews and questions into your data warehouse, databases, or SaaS tools. Review content becomes joinable to orders and products rather than living only in the Yotpo dashboard.

Reviews change after they are written, through edits, moderation, and merchant replies. Merchant reviews read incrementally on their updated timestamp with a deliberate lookback for Yotpo's own data delay, and a webhook stream captures creates and edits so changes arrive without rescanning everything.

  • Connect with your Yotpo app key and secret
  • Read merchant reviews incrementally with a built in lookback
  • Receive review creates and updates by webhook
  • Backfill storefront reviews by discovering SKUs from merchant reviews
  • Read customer questions and answers
  • Monitor sync health, record volume, and failures from one interface

How to set up

Polytomic authenticates to Yotpo by exchanging your app key, sometimes shown as your store ID, and secret for an access token, which it then uses and refreshes for API calls. Setup is those two credentials plus a connection test.

  1. 1In Yotpo, find your app key or store ID and your secret key
  2. 2In Polytomic, navigate to Connections, then Add Connection, then Yotpo
  3. 3Enter the app key and secret
  4. 4Test the connection
  5. 5Select merchant reviews, storefront reviews, questions, or review updates
  6. 6Click Save
